When we do find something

This unit had nothing to report. When a visit turns something up, it appears at the top of the report as an open item, with:

  • a photo of what we saw, and where in the property it is;
  • a plain description of what is visible, without guessing at the cause;
  • a suggested next step, such as having a plumber look at it.

You decide what happens. If you want us to coordinate it, it counts toward your plan's routine maintenance allowance, and you choose and approve the vendor, the scope and the price.

What this report is, and is not. A condition visit is a non-invasive visual observation of accessible areas, documented with photographs and notes. It is not a home inspection, an engineering, structural or code inspection, or a test of building systems or appliances, and it can miss conditions that are concealed or not visible at the time. Full terms are in the Service Agreement, section 5.
